Different text types are all around us. In class, I had to work with others to create a presentation that shows different text types and the purpose of the texts.

On the holidays I and my brother went out hunting on the farm, we hunted for turkey. “Grab that ugly turkey” My brother shouted. The turkey had white feathers and a lumpy neck, it was ugly, very ugly. Once we got there it smelt disgusting like turkey poo. “Go get the gun Tumu,” my older brother said, I ran as fast as I could.
Suddenly, I spotted one in the bushes, creeping out to see if I had gone. I hadn’t. I shot it in the wing and it dropped to the ground. I screamed at my brother “throw the spear at it !!” He threw it but he missed it. I felt it so I shot it again and then it flew away. When we were walking back I spotted another one that was way bigger than the other one. but this black and even bigger lumps on its neck.
I grabbed the gun but when I got there the turkey was already gone. We were searching for ten minutes and suddenly I spotted something in the distance we ran so fast I almost fell over. The terrain was so hard to run on because the cow had just been in that paddock. I almost rolled my ankle. It started to run at me and my brother was so angry throw his gun at it and it dropped to the ground. I shot it. Finally, we got one my brother said. we hopped in the car and drove away.
I thought that day was one of the funniest days of my life.
